Because the age range and number of students interested in summer camps can change from year to year, we’ve introduced a Wild Card Camp into our summer schedule.

Each summer, we will designate one or two weeks as Wild Card sessions.
The specific program for those weeks is determined closer to the start of summer, based on the ages and interests of the students who register. This flexible model allows us to respond thoughtfully to our community and gives students and families a voice in shaping our offerings.

A Wild Card Camp may revisit one of the themes from other sessions or introduce an entirely new idea. Depending on the group, it may run as a full-day camp (9:00 AM–3:00 PM) or an extended-day program (10:00 AM–6:00 PM). Extended days tend to work especially well for teens, though we remain open to trying new formats.

In past years, this flexibility has allowed us to add additional teen sessions when interest was strong. This summer, we are offering two Wild Card weeks for families to choose from.

If you are interested in a specific Wild Card week, please register and indicate in the comments whether you prefer a full or extended day. If you are already registering for Art Escapades or All Day Art for Teens and would like to request an additional session, you may list one (or more) Wild Card weeks as a second or third choice in the comments section.
