Let’s make art—and bring it to life! We invite our young artists to dive into the exciting world of puppet-making, where textures, materials, and characters come together to tell stories in endlessly creative ways. Each summer, we embark on a new journey, selecting a theme and a style of puppetry to explore.

This year's theme, Stories on Strings, takes inspiration from the enchanting tradition of Victorian England’s paper theaters, cherished as one of the era’s most beloved toys, as well as the enduring charm of tabletop marionettes still performing today. Our young artists will craft a beautifully detailed miniature playhouse and bring it to life with tiny, expressive marionettes.

Beyond the studio, we’ll venture on inspiring field trips, gathering ideas and sparking creativity as we explore historical and contemporary storytelling through puppetry. From intricate craftsmanship to the magic of performance, this immersive experience will give our young artists the chance to develop new skills, unleash their imagination, and bring their own unique stories to life!
