Summer Art Camp

Summer Art Camp is a day program for children 7 and up and we have exciting plans for this summer. As a tradition, will be drawing and painting indoors and en plein air. Our program this year will include pottery and untraditional materials. If situation permits to do it safely, will be taking day trips to the parks to draw and play outdoors and/or a museum. Otherwise we will utilize our newly improved play area in the back yard. We are also concidering a half day option (morning and/or afternoon).
The number of students will not exceed 5-7 (depending on age and CDC guidelines at the time)
Cost:
Full day $340 per session

Pottery Online

Play with clay at home! Better yet: set up your pottery studio outside and enjoy the fresh air while you are sculpting your masterpieces.
This blended 3-day course will consist of two online live instructions and one in person class at the studio. Each course will be project based but will also provide some inspiration and advise (and clay!) for independent work.
The number of students attending a class at the studio (our outdoor space) will be limited to 5. We also considering a possible staggered schedule. If necessary, this course can be fully virtual with a contactless drop off/pick up of supply and the artworks (for and after firing)

Enchanted Garden

This 5-day course is a great opportunity for our older students to explore the possibilities that soft pastel and charcoal have to offer. In our projects will embrace both a careful studying of nature and the freedom of imagination. We chose a perfect guide for this artistic exploration - French artist Odilon Redon, who’s imagery is just as fascinating and unrestricted as his technique. The course will provide both the benefits of life online instruction and unlimited feedback on the artworks students create in this class.
We will schedule this session in the afternoon in hopes it will please our teenage (and pre-teen) crowd.

Sleep-away Art Camp

A week ong summer sleep-away camp for girls in beautiful West Virginia. For this creative adventure we are joining our longtime partner Artichoke Art Studio (Gaithersburg), led by Ksenya Litvak. This sleep-away camp is an exclusive offer for students of Artichoke and Sirin Art studios. Join the sleep away camp mailing list.
We continue closely monitor the situation in Maryland and West Virginia. So far it seems to be favorable for our August sessions.
